On the side I'm designing a guide to all the weird aliens and creatures in Evil Eye. I think it'll be a fun side project to do when I'm feeling burnt out on the main story. Going to redraw the title to match the stylized coloring of the different aliens.

I once had two people call me a racist, and I asked "Wait what did I do that was racist?" And their response was angrily saying "You know what you did." And to this day I don't know if I accidentally did a microaggression without realizing or if it was a false allegation because they wouldn't tell.

Good on emphasizing explaining why it's wrong. I see plenty of callouts that prioritize antagonizing over informing, and I feel like that rhetoric just pushes people away and closes their ears.

Tattooed Tartirsi woman. Tartirsi have a domed head with their beak forming a donut horizontally around their cranium. Their beak is hooked similar to a raptor or macaw. The tops of their heads are adorned with a three pronged crest giving their side profile the visage of a three peaked mountain range. Male crests are slightly larger and their beaks have ridges giving the illusion that they have fangs.

The Tartirsi are a cave dwelling sapient species that can handle extreme pressures and their lungs can recycle the oxygen in CO2 allowing them to respire almost indefinitely. They can consume many heavy metals without issue and can handle both spectrum ends of extreme temperatures.

I have a memory of asking my mom for ten more seconds so that I could pause and save the game and she turned my Wii off in the middle of Mario getting a star animation after a grueling platforming level in Galaxy 2.

Merry Christmas. Last night my friend audaciously asked me to do the cringy 6-7 meme and in a pure blind rage my eyes rolled into the back of my head and I animated him doing it in a maid outfit in less than 3 hours. I’ve discovered I’m incredibly productive when motivated by spite.

I've learned how to animate with layer masks, so my little dimensional squiggle is perfectly animated without any of the backgrounds clipping into each other and it was a fairly painless process. I AM SO HYPED!! God gave me ribs to keep me humble. #indieanimation #clipstudiopaint #csp

I am actually pissed with DoorDash. I thought the purpose of a free trial was that they would ask me at the end of the trial if I want to continue with the pass. Not auto-charge me over $90 and then trigger my bank’s fraud alert and get my card locked. This is the swift kick I need to delete it.

Need to make a proper transition when warping to Multiverse City and back, but I'm liking the progress I'm making. This is all new to me and I'm not horribly burned out yet, so HELL YEAH!! Also I love how the train in the background turned out.

Working on parallaxing. My foreground is nauseating dog dookie, but I think I'm getting the hang of the background stuff.

Songs I am referencing Dark Mirage from Kirby Star Allies- love the fast tempo and the bass. If my MC were to have a battle theme, it would be that. Pull the Trigger from Persona Q2- liking the style but would like to match the way the lyrics sync with the music if that makes sense. Has a good flow. Thrill Seeker from Rush Garcia- love the use of instruments in this piece. I like it when composers make brass and string instruments sound badass. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Opening2- I'm specifically looking for a vibe similar to the climax buildup/drop 52 seconds in. You Will Know Our Names from Xenoblade Chronicles- want the climax to feel the same rush as 1:05 into the song. Crimson Mirelands from Pokemon Legends Arceus- 6 seconds in has this cool synth. I kind of want that to be the closing note. Or something similar. Doesn't have to be the same instrument.

I want there to be an emphasis on trumpet in some parts. Can feel random. Have there be an occasional trumpet that is "rude" like it interrupts the song, and the idea would be for visuals to get briefly glitchy when the trumpet plays a few notes. For vocalists, I'm okay with cutting it but if we can, either have a deeper tough feminine voice singing it, or find a closeted twunk with some angst in his chords.

Making an anime opening for my comic. I'm looking for someone to commission a piece of music from. Will post all details I can in the thread.

Going to add some more frames and adjust some of the letters to fly in more naturally, but this is a good start for a test/storyboard.
