Continuing on with this timeline, here's a nice 90's update! Where as things had only gone up to the 80's prior, the setting has moved on into the twilight era of thr cold war for us, and simply a continuation for them.

Honestly both forgot to post, and been busy with life again but I have sketches to share. Some of them for Volatile Nursery, some of them for an writing project with friends thats gotten some new life in it. I'll post em sometime this week probably.

Update since the last armor post, I fleshed everything out quite abit more! I even did some experiments with doing full bodies again and got in a place I'm at least mildly comfortable with for the larger FO4 style power armor.

A helmet that goes with the BDU-90A Standardized Uniform in service with the Republic of Sol Military. Designed in 2203, and produced and put into service in 2215. An Angular helmet with a large brim and blocky exterior overlooking a large orange visor.

The full set of BDU-90A rendered in blender, assembled with kitbashed parts of multiple Halo assets to make a customized soldier model.

The amount of Halo CE DNA in my work when it comes to characters is very apparent with this. This is another WIP as I take a break from the dropship and some other things to refocus on trying to design people and, more importantly, their equipment. 2nd pic is to compare. #sci-fi #worldbuilding #art

I had a couple of days off, but it's not nearly enough I need to be playing all the games I want.

Been playing Elite Dangerous a lot bumping up a federation democracy faction in the outer reaches and now that system colonization is available it is time to expand.

Many mostly small, bright objects scattered over a dark background in space. In the top half on the right is an elliptical galaxy, a round light larger than the others, with a slightly warped ring of light around it. In the bottom half there is a barred spiral galaxy, big enough that we can see its bluish arms and its core in detail. Other objects include distant galaxies and nearby stars.
