π¨ Testers wanted π¨
I have a huge update to Elite Hoops coming up. It adds user accounts, user sign up, and syncing data. Tons under the hood.
I'd love a hand testing the sign in/up flow:

My first, true "AI is changing my own personal life, work, etc" post. In short, I think it's a fantastic time to build stuff:
www.swiftjectivec.com/The-Shift-U...
"Typically, you can start to pull out 2-3 groups of countries when you look at them all by conversion rate. Then create tiers in Superwall and create new products in ASC for each tier to run price tests against."

Here's what Nick said:
"I optimize localized price testing for test efficiency as much as maximizing revenue.I usually break down markets into 2-3 tiers, usually based on average conversion rate."

Oh I already requested it haha, so glad they added that.
When I was but a young lil' pup, these reviews used to *kill* me.
But eventually, you become a hardened warrior, undeterred by reviews complaining about charging for your work, or not agreeing with design decisions you made.
Keep on rollin' friends, these reviews happen to all of us π»
I'm crossposting this, so if you are interested, please email me at jordan@swiftjectivec.com
- My Apple Search Ads weren't enough to grow it, whereas with Elite Hoops, they were. Maybe PMF just isn't there?
Misc:
- Native, all Swift+SwiftUI. No backend.
- RevenueCat and Superwall integrated.
Metrics + App Store Link: verified.revenuecat.com/elitefootba...
- Ive turned off all Apple Search Ads for it.
Pros:
- Solid base, and added practice planner that grew Elite Hoops recently.
- Same recordable whiteboard Elite Hoops has.
- Recently localized.
Cons:
- Numbers are small.
- I don't know soccer coaches, is what I built not as useful to them?
π¨ I'm looking to sell my soccer app, Elite Football Club.
It's like Elite Hoops, but for soccer (or football, depending on where you live π).
Reasons:
- I just haven't been able to grow it.
- But I also haven't really tried, I learned I dont care about soccer.
The pitfall with agents is not knowing what you don't know. In iOS, I can spot mistakes early. I'm trying to learn enough to do the same in web dev.
Cheers π»
Terminal output of Opus explaining Next.JS server actions in terms of SwiftUI.
Agents are amazing at coding now, no surprise there. One way to use them that I've found valuable is as a tutor, relating new tech stacks to me using familiar parallels from SwiftUI and iOS development.

If you've been following my month of marketing posts for Elite Hoops, then you've seen that I've been working on a free tool to boost my mailing list.
They get a practice plan by dropping an email.

It may have taken a few years, but I stumbled upon the first organic post about Elite Hoops on Reddit. Fun moment for me! www.reddit.com/r/basketbal...
A big ol' canvas open in Sketch on macOS showing a bunch of graphics made for Superwall's content.
Just a Sketch appreciation post. I use it for every single blog post I make at the 9-5 and my own stuff. A fantastic feeling Mac app.
Real talk - how do you respond to support emails about feature requests you donβt ever plan on doing?
Iβve been running into this with Elite Hoops more lately, and I havenβt found the best verbage yet.
A gameplan of marketing ideas for Elite Hoops, mainly centered around content and other forms of growth.
This is kinda of how I'm looking at my month of marketing.
Hiring an agency really helps, because now someone else is going to handle UGC stuff. I think I'm going to learn into the "Free Tools" type of marketing, since those have done well for me previously.
All I want for Christmas is for Apple to use the promo art they asked for :-(
π Month of Marketing π
For the next 30 days straight, I am going to close Xcode and focus only on marketing for Elite Hoops. I'll keep an updated, running journal here at this post - which I'll try to update at the end of each day :
