Tell Congress: Stop Trump's War with Iran Trump's unauthorized war in Iran has already taken the lives of US servicemembers and at least 1,000 Iranian civilians. It has devolved into a larger regional conflict, with missile and drone strikes,...

The American people don’t want to waste $2 billion per day on Trump’s war of choice with Iran.

Unfortunately, Hakeem Jeffries is currently declining to organize House Democrats against war funding.

We must make it clear that no Democrat should vote to give the regime more money to wage this war.

I keep seeing people ask about the 25th Amendment.

Guys. His entire Cabinet is walking around in shoes that don’t fit because they’re scared to take them off.

The 25th is never happening.

Also, to add - I’m not disagreeing… only adding in a perspective. One thing I feel gets lost in the AI/tech debate is how computers and AI have made life MUCH more accessible to people with disabilities. AI has been AMAZING for web accessibility. I think this ties in to the intersectionality issue.

That’s interesting, because the only reason I have dignity in my work is because of computers and AI. They’ve made my life as someone functionally deaf MUCH more accessible than without them.

My town had a meeting tonight to discuss restricting local police from working with ICE. A white woman who spoke against it is the mother of my kid's best friend. Her child is not white. Her husband is an immigrant. Even though it happens daily, it still shakes me to my core to see a soul so rotted.

Representative-elect Bobbi Boudman ran an incredible campaign and won in a district Republicans carried by 13 points last election. Democrats have now flipped 28 state legislative seats since Trump took office, while Republicans haven’t flipped one.

Congratulations, Bobbi!

No Kings As the president escalates his authoritarian power grab, the NO KINGS non-violent movement continues to rise stronger. We are united once again to remind the world: America has No Kings and the power ...

When our military is fighting a war Americans don't want, secret police are kidnapping and killing our neighbors, and the regime is working overtime to suppress the vote in the midterm elections, silence isn't an option. No Kings Day on March 28 has to be big, loud, and inescapable.

Please join us.

Some ships might be turning off their transponders and going for it. But by watching who gets near to Hormuz and who reappears on the other side, we can get a bit of a picture and it's not good. This is not "the Strait is open", as Trump and his supporters are claiming.

The Virginia GOP has some nerve.

They just drew out Black reps all across the country with their own gerrymanders, but are sending this shit to Black voters on the VA redistricting law.

Vance: "When people like Kamala Harris send our sons and daughters, our young people, to fight in stupid wars, it is the young generation that carries the burden of that. We're gonna stop sending our young people to far away lands. We are not the policemen of the world."

I once interviewed an expert on oil consumption that focused on consumers. He said low gas prices are a religion for Americans and they will do absolutely nonsensical things to access them, like drive miles and miles out of their way.

If you wanna lose votes as fast as possible, raise gas prices.

Trump’s massive miscalculation on Iran is going to hit hard. The NYT spoke to US officials who say Iran is fighting back more effectively than the Trump administration expected, with stronger military capability and continuing attacks on US targets.

More American casualties are likely, they say.

On this day, I'd like us to reflect on the fact that the behavior in public we see has been practiced and normalized in private.
And causes suffering there too.

But they’re right that gas prices are what low-info voters will care about. And those are the votes they need to get.

A handful of Republicans in Congress & Supreme Court can end this nightmare any time they choose, and history will remember them as saviors of the republic, no matter what terrible things they did to US in last 10 years: insane we cannot find a few volunteers for this plum deal!

This is incredibly on point.

Spot oil prices grab the news, but it’s the impact we’re about to witness to petrochemical and derivative production that should really scare the shit out of folks.

It’s the sort of shock that could ripple through our global industrial economy for many months.
