Thank you for posting this; I just commented. Anyone who has been in an old-growth forest knows how special it is. Grieves me to think these could be lost.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

I joined my aunt at her retirement home today for a protest she organized for her fellow residents after the main No Kings protest. She organizes weekly protests — honk and wave events — across the street from the facility. They call themselves “Grantifa.”
