Phoneme editing in UTAU is not as easy as other softwares because you’re not really editing what phonemes you’re using but you’re editing what samples you’re using 😭😭 (Unless you’re using a phoneme-based phonemizer)

to change them well, you’d need to know the voicebank’s aliases

which in this case, they should be named after X-SAMPA symbols . experiment a bit and you can figure it out haha

Tbh I don’t know how other people do it but you have to input English lyrics into the notes (not sure how to do this in mobile but I’m sure it’s possible haha)

Then for the phonemes specifically you would probably need to edit them at the bottom (where all the V’s are are) but in order to know how

I do get to have slightly more fun with guessing Hio though from listening for the differences between his ENG pronunciation and JPN pronunciation haha

I think it’s so exciting to recognize your fave Vocaloid’s specific voicebanks being used in a song, but also my most favorite faves only have one or two (public commercial) voicebanks so I would basically just hear Big Al and go “oh my god that’s Big Al(’s singular voicebank)…”
