Repubs say Dem's not cooperating, but House Ranking Dem Rosa Delauro put forth legislation to fund DHS except for ICE & CBP while working out details re observing the 4th & 6th Amendments by those agencies. Repubs refused because they think judicial warrants are an imposition.
I voted against creating ICE because I believed it lacked the guardrails necessary to prevent abuse of power, and sadly, those concerns have proven justified. ICE has become a rogue agency. We must hold leaders like Kristi Noem accountable and stop ICE from terrorizing communities across our country
