Early stage investigators are the ones who will become scientific leaders. We invest in them because they then serve on data safety and monitoring boards, peer review panels, and then mentor future early stage investigators.
#NIA invites you to participate in a virtual Pre-Summit Listening Session on 12/10/2025. Share ideas and priorities to inform planning for the 2026 #Dementia Care and Caregiving Research Summit. This is open to all: care partners, persons living with dementia, and anyone interested. #ADRD #geronsky
To be clear, these are for unsolicited applications. Not RFAs with set-aside funding.
π¨The #NIH will no longer require an over-the-cap request for applications over $499,999.99/year. Furthermore, we will no longer require letters of intent.π¨

8) β Championed inclusion in science β strengthening NIHβs Tribal Health Research Office, co-leading the RADx-UP (Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics β Underserved Populations) program, and advancing international scientific diplomacy as a Human Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO) trustee
7) β Promoted a cross-institute perspective β spearheading the first NIH-wide strategic plan and helping lead trans-NIH research programs on Down syndrome, maternal, child, sexual and gender minority health (INCLUDE, IMPROVE, ECHO, SGMRO)
