Yeah, fair. Definitely agree about the sense it's sequential. But that's not always very problematic (?) - it is however far more effective to think of it as mutualistic loops (definitely going to use that phrase in future!).

In my experience (legislative) deadlines were a massive driver to introduce this. I also think perhaps I don't understand the service manual because I don't really understand how dual track opposes it - you still have to test, measure and iterate! ๐
A learning I had with introducing this to a team was that discovery often takes longer and can create a bottleneck for delivery; so I introduced some sense checking based on risk to just ship+test rather than disco for everything.
Last week I had to go to the GP to fill in my name, address, phone no., email and NHS no., on a paper form and then hand it to the receptionist for her to verify from The System. She stamped it and handed it back to me and then I posted it to another bit of the NHS. This... Doesn't need to exist.

I guarantee you're not missing out on honey (or marmalade if that's your preference?)
Obviously that is infuriating, but there really isn't much once you do log in.
Have you considered the compromise (and imho the right solution): the pasta bowl?
There's still time. ๐ฌ #SixNations

As a user I need to know if my clinic permanently changes location so that I can attend my appointments.
Thank you for setting it up!

Probs a day for tea and seed sorting and tentatively stepping into the garden and reconquering the veg beds from the squirrels and their hidden nuts. Gardening has helped my sometimes-a-bit-anxious-and-sad brain rethink January and reimagine it for all the possibilities of the coming growing year.
Thanks for your session about the list of services. I'm going to keep it in mind and mention it to a few people as and when I can.

Totally exhausted from a v early start and train shenanigans but thank you as always to the campmakers, organisers and our wonderful hosts at Birmingham City Council. See y'all next year! #ukgc26
Lots of good conversations as always at #ukgc26. Some takeaways:
- hypothesis-driven practice Inc 'vibe coding' needs an acceptance it might fail
- thinking about spaces to discuss failure that include #localgov
- product jobs are never the same
- still many barriers to data sharing
I have no idea what time I'll get in but I am at least on a train to Birmingham #ukgc26
Come talk to me about GDS Local - keen to hear any thoughts about opportunities or learnings and generally mingle with folks interested in all things #localgov
Good news! The (delayed) 09:16 is boarding.
Very few signs of that just yet but I live in hope. ๐ค
The chances of going to #ukgc26 are getting slimmer... ๐ฅฒ
PSA for those heading from London to Birmingham for @ukgovcamp.com - all trains from Euston currently cancelled, head to St Pancras and change at Leicester... #govcamp
You're a star! I was panicky doing web searches for alt routes
Oh no! I'm on my way there...
Yes I noticed that outsourcing model too. Iterestingly, that form is also designed for the patient to fill out most of it and then the GP to sign. But the online instructions seem to be your GP fills it all out.
My prescription fee exemption cert expires soon. To get it renewed, my GP must full out the FP92A paper form return it by post (there's also a process to order copies of this form!). But I also need to put in a request to ask my GP to do this process. This process feels like it could be better...
Made some Irish brown bread. Added a bit too much wheat bran. The crust tastes almost like digestive biscuits. That's a win, I reckon!
