Less than two weeks left to apply!
Postdoc positions in my lab to study
1. initiation of DNA replication.

Done lefkas, parga, Crete and Athens riviera a few times. All pretty fab. Corfu definitely on the list...
Was looking at Malta, but have gone for Xmas in Iceland - but different:)
Pre-print alert! Together with @stapleslab.bsky.social and @cejkalab.bsky.social we find that IFI16 binds to stalled replication forks where it acts as innate immune sensor for replication stress, and protects the nascent DNA from degradation. 👇👇
"give mouse guts now pls"
Cheers Pietro
New preprint from the lab, revealing new roles for IFI16 during replication stress. Great collab with @unterholznerlab.bsky.social and @cejkalab.bsky.social

Check out our review on DNA end resection! With Raphael Ceccaldi, www.nature.com/articles/s41...
Nice work - our data in a totally different model suggests the same
Pls repost. Postdoc role on post-replicative ssDNA gap processing. Interesting models that should float replication aficionados boats. DM or c.staples@bangor.ac.uk for info. Until Dec26 but will strive for funding to provide continuity.
Fantastic place to live+work
