Anonymous participant 21 January at 15:34 Common Sense v Cambridgeshire County Council. June 10th in the High Court. Mill Road Bridge bus gate is not a done deal. Letβs hope the council realise that imposing fines before the hearing could lead to them having to refund a lot of people. For those who say itβs a waste of money, look to the council, if they were playing by the book there would be NO case. For those who claim that this was a democratic decision, why was the impact on neighbours ignored by all literature? Why were the people misled? This was a heavily weighted and biased consultation and not a referendum. To suggest otherwise is lying in order to further manipulate the situation. This wonβt go away because too many people have been ridden over roughshod. Too many businesses affected, too much inconvenience, delay and extra pollution. Thank you so much again for your support. According to Friends of Mill Road Bridge 2, the statutory review of Cambridgeshire County Councilβs Mill Road bus gate traffic regulation order will take place in the High Court in London on 10 June 2025.
Pleased to see that a decision has been made on the basis of the evidence; hopefully this will help to show there are much better alternatives than the route selected by the Greater Cambridge Partnership for connecting Cambourneβ¦
