We just don't support live music in Brum like we should. So many acts miss Birmingham when they tour- Bristol, Nottingham and Wolverhampton seem to do better. Jolie Holland - an absolute folk/country/blues legend - is also not sold out at the Hare. She'll go to Nottingham next time.

We may have played the Bull & Gate more than once. I remember on one occasion we were moved up the bill ahead of the Wedding Present because we broke down on the motorway and arrived late in the car on a trailer.

This was the first band I ever wrote to. I got the address off the back of their album, I think it was in Moseley. It was absolutely gushing. I don't regret it. I still play Sharks, the album.
