I have a few commissions open right now where I see the artists doing other things, posting stuff without seeing any progress on my pieces and it's very frustrating, but I never pressure them, I just check in-

It really depends for me how long I'm willing to wait, mostly on the communication. If I get shown progress, if I get an estimated time frame and if that time frame can't be reached, the artist contacts me instead of me having to chase, then I'm willing to wait longer. If I have to follow up-
