Farmers are not a monolith. Really depends on what they grow/raise, the size of the operations, and in what part of the country.
Of course. But a lot of what determines if a farm family is rich depends on what they raise, grow, etc as well as the size of their operations. One of my farm uncles was the head of the county Dems. Yes, many rich ones receiving a ton of subsidies vote MAGA, but precinct level data is > nuanced.
The cherry-growing families I know from childhood and now as an adult who spends part of her summer near the self-proclaimed Cherry Capital of the States - one spouse works outside the home and other tends bar or similar jobs in winter as the summer proceeds no longer provide a year-round income.

One farm burned all their trees. Some sell to developers, hence, “bulldozing.”
