I think I've found another Lakers game that matches the 137 points by the starting 5 (but it went to triple OT). The game Wilt scored 78 points for Philly, but lost to the Lakers 151-147. Lakers starters: Baylor (63), West (32), Selvy (17), LaRusso (15) and Felix (10).

I put a bunch of 85 Topps Jumbo cards on my wall when I was a kid. I still have them and they all have a little bit of putty on the back corners that I used to stick them up.

Jacques Plante in a black-and-white photograph, wearing an early fiberglass goalie mask with straps visible around his head. He is dressed in a Montreal Canadiens sweater with a lace-up collar and the large βCβ logo on the chest. Strong side lighting creates a sharp shadow on the wall behind him. He is turned slightly to his left and looking off-camera.
Jacques Plante was one of the greatest goaltenders in NHL history.
An absolute legend in the sport, he was not the first NHL goalie to wear a mask but his decision to wear one changed hockey history forever.
This is his story.

A black-and-white portrait of sam langford facing the camera. He is wearing a flat cap tilted slightly to one side and a light-colored collared shirt buttoned at the top. His head and shoulders fill most of the frame. He is smiling with teeth visible. The background is softly blurred, with a grid of window panes or rectangular shapes behind him. The lighting is even, highlighting his face and the texture of the cap.
Nova Scotia's Sam Langford is considered by many boxing historians to be one of the greatest boxers of all-time, but he never had the chance at a world title.
Known for his devastating punches, he had 126 knockouts in 314 fights.
This is his story.

A black-and-white team photograph of the Edmonton Mercurys on an ice rink. Two rows of players in matching dark jerseys with light stripes and a crest reading βEdmonton Mercurys / β52 Olympicsβ pose with hockey sticks and gloves. Several men in coats stand behind them. The front row kneels, the back row stands. A metal trophy cup sits on the ice at center in front of the group. The players wear skates, padded gloves, and some have letters on their sleeves. The background is dark, suggesting an outdoor or dimly lit rink.
In 1952, the Edmonton Mercurys won Canada's sixth Olympic gold medal in men's hockey.
Many of the players worked at the Waterloo Mercury dealership in Edmonton.
They were the last Canadian team to win men's hockey Olympic gold for 50 years.
This is the story.

A black-and-white action photo of an outdoor ice hockey game. Four players converge near the puck in the foreground: one in a light jersey with the number 10 bends low to control the puck while two opponents in dark jerseys try to block him, and another skater trails just behind. In the background, more players skate near the boards, with spectators standing along a wooden fence. Snowbanks, small buildings, and leafless trees are visible beyond the rink, indicating a cold-weather setting. The ice surface shows skate marks and spray from the playersβ movement.
On this day in 1932, the Winnipeg Hockey Club, representing Canada at the Olympics, captured gold in hockey. It was Canada's fourth straight gold medal in hockey. Canada outscored their opponents 32 to 4. Walter Monson was the leading scorer with 11 points in six games.

I think boring is a little harsh. They were 3rd in the NFL this season in points scored & JSN is usually super fun to watch. Plus their biggest win of the season was a 38-37 OT epic against the Rams that might have been the most entertaining game of the year. The loss to Tampa was also a crazy game.
