This is what I say to myself after choosing to call with a friend that's just started Evangelion instead of sleeping at a reasonable time like I really truly actually was going to tonight I swear.

A man asks "how's your insomnia been?" Another man says "better since I hired that MMA fighter." Later than night we see a tattooed MMA fighter approach the former insomniac, now in a old-timey pinstriped nightcap and pajamas." he says "alright Cody, time for the sleeper hold." Cody wraps his arms tightly around the man and says SHH SHH. He lays him into bed gently with choke marks around his neck and gives him a tender kiss on the forehead.

I've been on this for as long as I can remember. Wouldn't be who I am without it!

Oh wow, I wasn't expecting to get a reply from you lol. I just wanna say that now it's been a bit longer, I keep on getting Robinson stuck in my head and having to listen to it again, it is just so moving. I can feel so much personal history in those lyrics and the way they're delivered.

Absolutely incredible. Maybe more instrumental where I'd prefer vocal, but I think this opinion will change. My absolute favourite track was Before Machinery, and Robinson and Two-Headed Calf as well. I'll need to dissect these songs though, there's a lot to them. I cried several times though.

It's good! My favourite tracks are See America Right, No Children, and Oceanographer's Choice. The lyrics are really good and tell a story very well, but I wish some of the songs were a bit longer and developed their ideas in more detail.

Just finished watching "Nimona" with my brother and now I get the hype behind this movie too. Like woah, I almost cried several times during some moments in the movie haha. But I really loved watching this movie. That last part took me off-guard too. Overall, I'm happy I finally got to watch it ^^

Firing up vanilla Dark Souls 2 and going online in 2024:

I have started playing Dark Souls III and this is pretty much just the best game of all time. I kept saying I wished I could play Dark Souls 1 for the first time again, and this is kinda that, but like even better. It's weird that they made a third entry without a second though.

I think I need to listen again when I'm more awake, not really sure I processed it. My favourite tracks were Turn the Lights Off, Hymn for a Scarecrow, and &. Definitely a more consistent sound than Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum. I think it's pretty good, but not really for me.

My copy of Look Back just arrived, I am very excited to read it as I've heard very high praise for it. Once I've read it, the only major Tatsuki Fujimoto work I'll have left to read is Fire Punch and Chainsaw Man part 2.
