This neoliberal procedural fetishism is not Democrats being weak. It's Democrats supporting murder and global destabilization but not wanting to come out right out and say it.

It's actually WORSE than full-throated support, by seeking a veneer of legalism around evil and immoral violence.

We will be fortunate if we escape this conflict without it escalating into a nuclear one, partly because of who Trump is as a person and partly because there are people around him who see such escalation as conducive to the goals of their particular and often religious zealotries.
