Last day of leave before I start my new job. I've been doing a lot of slow stitching, and took my doggo camping for the first time ❤️.

I'm not always a fan of the NAS and its behaviourist belief-systems (understatement), but sometimes it does useful research e.g. on transport.
nas.chorus-mk.thirdlight.com/file/24/DYmk... This is about the challenges of getting from A to B, whilst autistic.
"Just use the bus/train" isn't so easy.

Science sleuths flag hundreds of papers that use AI without disclosing it Telltale signs of chatbot use are scattered through the scholarly literature — and, in some cases, have disappeared without a trace.

www.nature.com/articles/d41... Research is supposed to hold high standards, ensuring information in them is original, accurate, ethical, and from the actual authors.
Seems a lot of Journals have systems so poor that they allow AI to write stuff, then someone edits it out after publication (!).

Our gentle reminder that there's ~ 2 million autistic ppl in the UK. Research shows we are less likely to commit crime than other ppl, on average.
Having an autism diagnosis is irrelevant to whether they are a criminal. It's like saying, "They have size 8 feet - let's fear all ppl with size 8 feet"
