I dip in to GB News and Talk because it's important to see what they are saying and getting away with.

My impression is that both are pushing the boundaries of "acceptable discourse" well beyond the limits.

Stuff like this has become normal, and it's frightening.

Kind of weird when you can watch the global market collectively go "oh shit he is that crazy".

The DOJ released evidence, which the FBI deemed credible, that the President of the United States sexually and physically assaulted a 13 year old girl AND she was afraid to talk about it because Trump would kill her—and it’s somehow not the biggest scandal in American history?

Let’s be fair, it’s also a platform for creating, distributing and selling child sexual abuse material.

love how we killed the old, frail anti-nuke ayatollah just to have him replaced with his young, healthy son who wants nukes and who just had his father, mother, wife, and child murdered on the same day by his mortal enemy. surely this will bring peace to the region

I’m not visiting USA whilst that man is in charge, and I’m very far from alone in boycotting USA. Even if I wanted to, they now ask for 5 years of social media accounts. Not sure I’d be allowed in

Part of Trump’s mass appeal (and of why he’s so dangerous) is that he really seems to share Joe Barstool’s worldview that there are no complex problems: Everything has a simple brute solution, which previous leaders were somehow too stupid or weak to deploy.

Yes because everyone who values freedom will take to the streets while the bombs are flying.🙄

This is a war run by idiots.

Not only did the US, per its own ‘intelligence,’ bomb this girls primary school, THEY BOMBED IT TWICE.

As many who follow me know, I have been a strong critic of Starmer, for solid and logical reasons.

But his decision, albeit grudging and late, to find a backbone and stand up to Trump is one I endorse unequivocally.

(That doesn't give him a magic pass on all the unrelated stupid stuff he's doing.

"It is [...] hard to avoid the conclusion that the Trump administration has embarked on this operation without a plan, and is making it up as it goes along, as if they killed enough of the right people and destroyed enough Iranian assets everything would fall into place."

Magical thinking.

Somebody, please ask all these Trump-fluffing British politicians exactly what their policy will be regarding the Iranian refugee crisis they are so desperate to create.

A parody of the famous evolution of man depiction. On top is the original as an ape evolved into man. In the bottom the man is one of the generals at Dover Air Force base and moving backwards through another officer, Hegseth, JD Vance and, finally, the most primitive, cerebrally underdeveloped cretin of all, a hunched orange felon at the back

What a horrendous age when 'human-rights obsessed' is understood by some as a sort of insult rather than the standard by which we should seek to operate ...

So, Johnson, Farage, Badenoch, the Telegraph… howl about the UK being “an irrelevance on the world stage”.
Remind me again who decided to isolate us with a strategically and economically idiotic Brexit, relying on a trade deal with the US to save us from exactly the kind of weakness they now bemoan.

Welcoming home bodies of fallen soldiers in a branded white baseball cap isn’t dignified nor respectful. My hunch is that his vanity came first and Trump won’t risk his “comb-over” being disrupted outdoors by the wind. Convince me I’m wrong…

Take back control, they said.

Free us from the tyranny of the EU, they said.

And now they are calling for us to be shackled to the Trump regime; else we’ll be a piffling irrelevance.

We are urging strongly that Iran's statehood be preserved.
We do not want to see a Syrian scenario here, but rather we want this state to become functional from within itself.
And that is why I also appeal, both in Washington and in all talks with the Israeli government, to create the conditions as quickly as possible for this country to be stabilized, for it to get a democratically legitimized government, and for it to be able to continue to exist as a state.
It is a country with over 90 million inhabitants, and we naturally also have a high self-interest in this in order to avoid new refugee flows from the region.

Finally someone mentions the upcoming refugee problem that I raised here about a week ago - this should’ve been considered BEFORE the strike.

So you don't heave a missile into an elementary school, then fire a second missile into the school to finish off the survivors is why a professional military engages in dumb, politically correct rules of engagement. But no, American exceptionalism > 175 schoolgirls.
