2,873 words written and edited today! Starting the next chapter after I compile a list of not too absurd names. Can't keep calling them friend 1 and friend 2.

How about an old funk favorite: Mother's Finest, Thank you for the Love.
Talking about my book with a friend, the older man at the next table leaned over and said 'your female character sounds uppity no one will read it' My friend and I rolled our eyes and ignored him. Can I use this man's quote as book marketing? I think it should be in bright red letters #authorsky
I love all of SKPβs books but this oneβ¦
I love the Doomsday Book, and most of Connie Willis' works.
I wrote a gut wrenching scene and then outlined a 2nd book to settle my nerves.
I wrote and edited 1,387 words yesterday! Goal for today, finish this chapter.
Started the year by getting this filled in. Iβm in love with this raven #tattoo #raventattoo
I read approx 48 books this year, forgot to log a few. Favorite the Devils by Joe Abercrombie. Coziest new world the Emily Wilde books by Heather Fawcett, adored this series. Re-read Deerskin by Robin Mckinley and once again my heart was ripped out and repaired in one sitting.

I have read The Doomsday Book at least 5 times. She is a favorite of mine.
Editing my WIP and I needed a break from the emotional upheaval, but did I sit and watch a movie like I should have? No, I outlined a novella based on a character from the main WIP. It was supposed to be lighter and maybe funny... it isn't :(
Both. If I push them all the way to the back then I can stack new books in front and those touch the edge for easy access.
For us non-kintters, are you selling these anywhere? These are gorgeous.
Black and white Siberian Husky on couch
How dare I tell him to get off the couch. Husky drama is real.
That is the most adorable snuggle werewolf ever! If lived closer we'd bring my demonic kisser (mutt) and the howling banshee (husky) in for a meet and greet.
Oh my. What edition is this? I think my shelves would welcome this beauty.
I spent 3 glorious hours writing in the library yesterday. Pretty sure all the books on the shelves applauded after I tackled an emotional scene I'd been putting off.
Watched an old favorite last night. Still love this movie, and the soundtrack is hands down one of the best. #thecrow

Self edits on my WIP almost complete! I need an endorphin boost to get me through the last few chapters, but I'll refrain from adding in a new subplot.
Motherfucking wind farmsβ¦
Ozzy Osbourne, You can't kill roll, it's here to stay! Thanks for the great music.
I'm reading The Vampire Lestat, for the umpteenth time. My audio book for my drive to work is Of Darkness and Light by Ryan Cahill.
My son wanted a βkind of scaryβ movie. I picked an old favorite. My son being the animal lover he is spent the entire movie threatening violence to any being who hurt Nanook. #lostboysmovie
Siberian Husky under desk
I have a day off and planned to write all day. My dog, βhello, I have other plans for you.β
New pup likes hanging out in the bathtub and stands up for pets when we enter his domain.
And Celebrating the fact I cut 2,687 words from my WIP yesterday!
So more editing today and a few more ear scratches for Pinto.
Welp, he came home with us. Iβve missed having a husky in the house and this older boy is going to be a good fit. #siberianhusky
Red and pink roses
Pink climbing roses
Great week: my roses are climbing thanks to the rain.
Edited 2 chapters in my WIP.
And off to meet a husky today who may adopt us.
Down to the last edits on book 1. Now the hard part, coming up with place names for all of my towns, cities, kingdoms. I have a few but damn, I may draw letters out of a hat and call it a day.
Hi, great interview. Is your 'sweary book' The Last King? I ordered a few of your books but want to jump into the sweary book. Thanks.
Started Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne at home. At work on breaks I'm reading Essex Dogs by Dan Jones.
