In response to a ruling from a federal judge in Rhode Island, the Institute of Museum and Library Services reinstated all previously canceled grants in every state and territory. It's a huge win for libraries and our communities.
"The reinstatement of all IMLS grants means that libraries across the country will be able to resume vital services for learning, imagination, and economic opportunity. We are breathing a sigh of relief, but the fight is not over." ALA President Sam Helmick. Show up for our libraries, American Library Association.

I am about to conduct a assessment of my Virtual learning Center to create a plan to increase VLC usage. We used Chatgpt to design the assessment survey. I figure I need to have about 400 people take the survey. We will start this fall. Any ideas as to how to get 400 students to take the survey?

Is it true that 70 percent of VR users get dizzy and Meta is scaling back production because headsets are bad for the eyes? Had a woman on a tour blast VR as a dying "thing" today. Sounds like a hater to me and someone misrepresenting research. What say all the VR folks on Bluesky?
I think my VR lab is getting a VR HMD upgrade. But then they told me that in September . Now they are teasing me with "the 500 dollar" one. 🙄
I was not happy when the #WithinVR app was shuttered in lieu of a Meta directed order for the creators to focus on the #SupernaturalVR workout app. But they have my attention with my workout guru #JaneFonda on the app in #VR. Jane and I worked out on VHS! My postpartum body loved Jane!
