Of course, the Cowboy Bebop director picked Bruce Lee, but so much more!
Two, interlocking and thoroughly gorgeous Noriyoshi Ohra covers for a Manga adaption of Star Wars: A New Hope. Everytime I stumble across this scan in my files, I simply have to throw it out there into the galaxy again. Coz itβs fab.
I also happened to still have an old 4:3 VGS monitor from 2003 that actually can rotate 90 degrees, so I managed to install Raiden III & Crimzon Clover to the Shuttle for some proper tate shooting action.
This is a 32-bit Windows XP OS, so naturally 64-bit programs won't work on it... but, at some point, GOG made some offline installers exclusively 64-bit, even if it's for something like Epic Pinball, i.e. an old PC game using DOSbox.
Luckily, these have been more the exceptions than majority.
Been busy downloading various offline installers from my GOG account & moving them over to the "Retro XP" Shuttle PC for installation (I don't really want to put this thing online, especially vis website).
A good amount of games I was hoping to see working on it actually do, but some don't.

The key to Darkwing Duck is that while it's a parody of superheroes and pulp fiction and noir, it also really stands on its own. It's a fun watch even if you don't care for the references.

It's the shell game, except all I can hear is Zoidberg doing his Three Stooges impersonation during it.

So, in the last week, I've encountered 6 copies of PC Genjin 2 for PC Engine that all worked within the last year that are now all dead. It seems like this game specifically is failing in huge numbers. If you own a PC Genjin 2 Hucard, could you test for me? I'm trying to find still working copies!
Hello! Welcome to the official account for the Otaku Archive project, a collective project from several members of the anime community that aims to preserve important documents, artifacts, and more from the anime fandom and industry.
We'll be posting updates here going forward, so give us a follow!
Give it time & eventually you'll get someone legitimately going "*record scratch* Yep, that's them. You might be wondering how they got there," and thinking that it's a clever way to promote a news article.
After years of searching and losing online auctions, I'm happy to say I finally landed this fish. And if you tune in for the next ArtValt update (April 1) you'll get a look at everything it had to eat.

Every game that is released right now is a small miracle. I don't care if it's a hit or a flop.
Yeah, I believe in the PC-88 game both the medicine & Ruby are in the river area. The medicine is definitely in the OG version, though.
I mean, RnK was hella successful for its time. It just was made prior to Shonen Jump going whole hog with anime adaptations, which didn't happen until Dr. Slump blew up.
(Also, Kurumada did apparently deny offers to adapt RnK while he was making it, a mistake he no doubt made up for with Seiya)
Any aspiring writers out there? My publisher Chin Music Press is opening their submissions window.
The medicine is in the PC-88 original. You find it in the river after you drain it, like always.
Props on beating Varalys without it, though!
especially this assurance right before. Yeah sure, with his reflexes, he can handle being knocked out of the ring, out of the entire fucking stadium, and into the river.
Ring ni Kakero
laughed my ass off at this page
In the recent past months Iβve been reading a lot of Ring Ni Kakero and this manga this manga is fantastic
This manga lands as my second favourite work from Masami Kurumada and if you havenβt read RNK yet
Older manga Hit different personally.

B't X was my introduction to Kurumada, but it's especially cool to experience after becoming familiar with his style, as he very clearly pushes against some of the traditions & tropes he helped establish with RnK & Seiya.
It's way more obvious in the manga, but the anime has bits of it, too.
