Nembhard had been guarding SGA extremely well. Thunder used the same action 3x to get Nesmith to switch, Shai kept scoring/getting the foul call.

Those are two MASSIVE defensive plays by Chet Holmgren, wow.

Pacers are completely outshooting the Thunder and also getting like 80% of the breaks. This is just all grit from OKC, but I don’t this it’s going to be enough.

He’s also just not comfortable shooting with a smaller guy closing into his air space a lot of time. It’s confusing because he’ll try to shoot over a tall guy in those spots and get his jumpers blocked fairly often.

This is just impossible to overcome.

If this series goes the way it’s looking, that’d feel pretty bad. Certainly not gonna call for sweeping changes, but I think the “how can this team make room for Cam Johnson minutes?” Sort of argument should be about over. Him (or somebody of that caliber) would clearly help.

Trying to start Storr with the two big lineups is trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. It has not worked and will not until (if?) Storr starts playing well offensively.

If you want to play KJ 39 minutes, fine. But you gotta have more Rylan/Zeke lineups.
