INBOX: the police chief of Quakertown, Pa., led a group of plainclothes officers to disrupt a peaceful high school student sidewalk protest yesterday.
They threw an underage girl to the ground, choked her, and disconnected all calls to the detention center where she and others are currently held.
Isn't a judge supposed to know the law? I mean, isn't that the point of having judges in the first place?
This one could make you cry. (For years international adoptees became U.S. citizens only when their adoptive parents took the needed steps to get them naturalized; a 2000 law automatically naturalizes legal adoptees on arrival, but that came too late for this woman).

I've only tried the chocolate and celery bitters from Scrappy's. I will absolutely have to try their cardamom. I don't think they sell sample packs, but I really wish they did. They're my favorite bitters company in general. They have an orange one that's literally the best orange I've ever tried.
