The answers LLMs generate are not all alike. They are more likely to hallucinate on topics we don't already know a lot about. Even answers with "sources" shouldn't be trusted.

As someone who moonlights as a copy-editor for a US-based publisher (and therefore spends a lot of time hand-inputting US punctuation), the fact that the em-dash has become a sort of watermark for identifying AI content is very demoralising.
