7, every time. 5 if I have to, but I never have to because there's always a 7.
7. Always works, always one nearby, smooth action, doesn't smudge.
One note, not two. Take that, La Monte Young (and I prefer B flat to B anyway).

Intriguing to put this against Mark Fell's record with Explore Ensemble from last year; on paper similar, in practice completely different. (And different again from whatever it was Aphex was doing a few years ago.)

As someone who moonlights as a copy-editor for a US-based publisher (and therefore spends a lot of time hand-inputting US punctuation), the fact that the em-dash has become a sort of watermark for identifying AI content is very demoralising.
This is the last of these that will be in front of the paywall. Future episodes will include Feldman, the wonderful Gilius van Bergeijk, autopsies in 19C Vienna (and 16C Leiden), KurtΓ‘g, various Erlkings, an important heatwave in New York, AND MORE. Subscribe! purlis.substack.com/subscribe
In memory of Γliane Radigue the makers of this documentary have made it free to view online. What a lovely gesture
