In addition to nerd stuff, I practice my approach to work similarly. Both nerd stuff and work stuff revolve around including, shaping, normalizing, and centering narratives that include POC perspectives

Last night I gave a presentation at NerdNight MPLS about the workshop i hosted at ConfluenceMN- reimagining the colonial-western narratives infesting table top games.
The turnout was great and the crowd was amazing. Deff coming back!

The players landed on Venus, saved some folks n cleared out the mercs of Tomb Fit. Saving a floating city from being targeted by surface to air batteries.
Running the game in person and seeing everyone’s decks laid out was incredibly cool.

In this playtest of Mechanized Body we found some balance changes to induvial cards, and MB integral abilities. The 10 x20 map worked well though, as did the Survey sitrep that required the deployment of four survey drones as a condition of success.

for those curious here's a working graphic of the faction flower. It's got regions, influence directions depending if the players actions were harmful, helpful or neutral and numeric modifiers for Org event rolls depending location.
We've play tested it a bit but are still trying to figure out the right way to explain it to readers. From playtest experience I've found that it all clicks after that first operation and fallout roll. Players see what strings they need to pull to set themselves up for success on their opperation.
