Drama queen indeed! π€£
A small, pale-yellow butterfly sits atop a pink zinnia sipping nectar. His wings are marked with faint touches of pink, including on the outside edges.
The pink edges on this Clouded Sulphur's wings reflect the colours of the zinnia

I love their undersides but you have to be very opportunistic to get them in a photo!
NYTimes: "... when asked about the manifold pushback to his new war from ... his base, [tr*mp claimed that] 'it's a very MAGA thing what we're doing ... I'm at the highest point I've ever been with MAGA.'"
Since tr*mp has declared that he himself, and he alone, IS MAGA, it makes sense that he thinks this is a high point
A large black butterfly with yellow and orange markings on the edges of its wings hovers above an orange zinnia. We see meadow and blue sky in the background
For #Stunday -- a very dreary one here in western Wisconsin -- a Black Swallowtail on a zinnia this past September

The Washington Post March ... I remember the trombone part by heart!
When China is the voice of reason
"Gartner predicts that by next year, half of the companies that fired workers for AI are going to hire them back. Also, 9 months ago, Microsoftβ¦proclaimed that 30% of their code was written by AI, and since then, we've seen some of the worst software issues at the company in its history."

Tortoiseshell cat is seen through a glass door, looking up at the person at the door. The cat is on a mat on the porch, and next to her is a dead field mouse. The cat appears to be saying something to the person at the door.
"Good morning, madam. Might I interest you in a freshly-killed mouse?"

Whew. So glad she cleared that up.
Little by little, they let their plans slip out
"After clinching the Democratic Senate primary, he told supporters in Austin that the country's real divide is between 'top versus bottom,' not the left versus right."
Talarico has it exactly right
Especially as we approach April 15th

Magical moment!
Johnson embarrassing Wisconsin -- and the nation -- once again
Second favourite butterfly of them all! (Second only to the White Admiral, which is closely related.)
The game of #MadLibWar strikes again!

You need to say that with tears in your eyes
He is getting so orangish-gold that eventually he'll fade into the decor
Just workshopping ideas ... "Hey, maybe some references to golden drapes will soften the message about casualties --? Whaddya think, J.D.? Melania? Melania?? ... oh, that's right, she's busy at the U.N today ..."
It's the #MadLibWar --!
We had to attack Iran because <of the Iranian people>

Little girl in hotel room stares out the window at the city of Medina in Saudi Arabia. The scene outside glows with a surreal light at night.
Granddaughter looking out at the city of Medina. She and her dada were due to fly home from Qatar Sat. morning but this administration had other plans. They're finally back Stateside, having had to rebook through other airports in Saudi Arabia. They're among the lucky ones. No reason for this war.
Wow -- thanks for sharing this!
Just what we needed. Impeccable timing.
