I not familiar with that emotion while watching this team domestically.

I’ve reached the β€œWrexham promoted/Tottenham relegated” stage of acceptance.

We've gone more than a half-dozen times and absolutely love it and have never felt at all unsafe. It's so sad.

We were in Puerto Vallarta area less than 48 hours ago. It's very surreal to see what's going on.

Only real sickos are flipping over from that spectacular hockey game to watch the North London Derby and the continued misery of being a Spurs fan, am I right @ahamm.bsky.social ?

Death of a Sports Section The Washington Post sports department was dismantled before its leaders gave it a chance to change

Me on the death of the Washington Post sports section.

This isn't a day to be nostalgic. It's a day to be angry.

The year is 1998. You hit your local Tower Records store and buy a copy of Yield from the cardboard display. You get home, peel off the plastic, and press play for the first time. Life is good.

Cheers to 28 years of Yield, and to Kevin Shuss for keeping this in the archives!

The Belgian delegation flew from DC to Seattle after the draw to start scouting options. Sounds likely they'll be in Renton.

The NFC is the visiting team (for coin toss etc) but the NFC will use the 49ers locker room, according to the 49ers. Ipso facto, I don’t believe I’m incorrect

Fair question. I'm a big hall person so I wanted to get to 10 and really threw a blanket over Pedroia, Buehrle, Pettitte and Hammels. Ultimately the decider was the other three had some type of individual accolade in their career -- MVP, LCS MVP, etc. -- that was the tiebreaker for me.

Do you like walk off touchdowns? How about a walk off touchdown to cap off an 80-yard 2-minute drive and win Central Washington's first Lone Star Conference title? Unreal.

Hall of Famer Wilkens feted with statue in Seattle Lenny Wilkens, the legendary former SuperSonics player, coach and executive, was honored as the first person to have a statue unveiled outside Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.

Tried to capture what Lenny Wilkens meant to the Sonics franchise and Seattle more generally when his statue became the first outside Climate Pledge Arena in June. Glad Lenny got to see that fitting tribute before passing away Sunday at age 88. Farewell to a legend. www.espn.com/nba/story/_/...

SeaTac right now is in the running for the worst in the country. I’ve gone out of LAX twice this season and I’d take that over the SeaTac mess currently.

Reddit post on r/technology about young people and AI: "I recently heard about a teacher who instead of trying to circumvent students using AI, which is impossible, she made assignments by going "ask ChatGPT to write a report on this subject, and then research how and why it's wrong".

Not only did the students discover that ChatGPT is extremely wrong a lot of the time, it also lead them to realise that they should not use it as a primary source".

This is one of the best ideas I've heard in ages.
