Diese mΓΌssen Menschen und Verkehr so wenig wie mΓΆglich beeintrΓ€chtigen, wΓ€hrend wir weiter daran arbeiten, dass diese Kontrollen nicht mehr notwendig sind.
Bereits jetzt haben die Schengen-Mitgliedstaaten mit dem Entry-Exit System mehr als 30 Millionen GrenzΓΌbertritte registriert und 16.000 unerlaubte Einreisen verhindert. Dadurch wird der Schengen-Raum deutlich sicherer.

1/ The Western Balkans are our neighbours. And in 2025, Montenegro made more progress on its path to EU accession than ever before. This demonstrates that with political will and a clear drive for reform, Montenegro can achieve its strategic goals.
At yesterdayβs public lecture I had the opportunity to make clear that our only option is to go forward, and to assert our place in this new world order.
We have the leverage to do so - if we act together, as European Union.
