I HOPE people do better. Because in 5 years of going to MFF, this is the FIRST time I have ever experienced something that has made me so physically uncomfortable and overstimulated I had to go straight back to the hotel to decompress.

sergeant, knowing the area is predominantly filled with neurodivergent people and people with accommodations for disabilities, you do (and did) trigger people with auditory sensitivities and trigger panic attacks with repeat yelling at such close proximity. I HOPE the volunteer sees this. (4/5)
people who are just showing up because this is a major thoroughfare. People are constantly moving back and forth from hotels to the con halls. If you cannot manage crowds by yourself (and you usually cannot) then you get assistance and manage until help arrives. But by shouting like a drill (3/5)
You are a volunteer. You are NOT a medical professional nor an EMT. What you do NOT do in any emergency situation is escalate the situation by repeatedly yelling at everyone to comply with commands (get against the wall to make room), where those here are complying, and the ones violating are (2/5)
Okay. So. I understand why the volunteer at #MFF2025 felt the need to be loud to make sure people could hear. There was a medical emergency that happened and first responders needed to get a guest into a wheelchair and taken out for treatment. I get that. That being said (1/5 )
