A 3-panel comic strip adaption a haiku: The quiet summer night to see who is passing by a cat steps out. In the panels, a couple is walking in a neighborhood at night, a cat observes from the shadows, and finally the cat steps out to greet the couple.

although these will get buried under layers of painting and drawing, this is how it begins. working my way up to having ten or beginnings that I can slowly work on, layer by layer by layer, and staying curious about where it all will end up

What’s the first book?
For me it was Lord of the Rings, which I read way earlier than is normal. I think I’m going to have to read WoT as I’ve never read it. Might be good escapism ; )
