I just think that's a helpful perspective to have, applied to whatever one is advocating for. Whether it's "likely" to happen or not, keeping talking about it makes it a lot more likely than shutting up about it

I don't remember who it was but there was someone who advocated for each child to start life being given an x thousand dollar savings account. And people kept saying 'that'll never happen why do you keep talking about it' and the person said that they'll Keep Saying It bc it's the Right Thing To Do
