I never really committed to Tesoah being a shaman, he's mostly that class because I have a mail mog I like and hunters can't use shields. I thought "eh, I dunno if he'd have the smarts to be a shaman", only to be reminded that gnolls and murlocs(?) can be shamans so maybe that's his arc in Midnight?

I was kind of down on Haranir's dance at first because WoW's dances are usually silly references. Femme pandarens get Carameldansen, Vulpera get What Does the Fox Say, Earthen get Rasputin, etc. etc.

But I do like that Haranir's dance is how they travel the rootways, there's a reason for that anim.

The tank left and I requeued us, I can't believe it'd be faster to kick the healer (me) to disband the group and requeue anew but

Apparently it's totally fine if someone you've never met is forced to have a thirty minute timeout for just playing the game normally : )

So people will kick you if someone leaves so YOU get the deserter debuff and they don't. That's gotta get changed.

Honestly that seems like an improvement over the usual that goes on in General Chat.

Like yes it's boring and tiring and a played out joke and "ironic" fetishism is still fetishism, but at least it's not Covid denial or white supremacy.

One thing I have to credit TBC for is having such a strong and distinctive artstyle that when coming back to Midnight and doing the Windrunner Spire and ESPECIALLY Murder Row dungeons, it invoked this weird nostalgia for an era of the game I never played through while it was current.

Okay, so this is a decor piece that you can unlock in Midnight and I SWEAR there's a meme that looks like this but I've no idea what it might be.

There's also obviously picasso pieces that look like this but I'm not well-versed in art history so it's probably not one of those I'm thinking of

The follower AI isn't perfect and they do stupid stuff too from time to time but at the very least they allow you to explore the new content properly.

I've always hated the "I must hit level cap ASAP" mfers and they seem to be everywhere now. Glad to have a way to exclude them from my playthrough.

Genuinely thankful for the Follower dungeon option during Midnight. Queuing up with randoms during expansion launch is frankly miserable - everyone wants to be done ASAP, pulls the whole thing to go "faster", dies and repeats ultimately making it much slower and MUCH less fun.
