Really good day for Mizzou hoops' bubble chances today, by which I mean it has been a horrendous day for other bubble teams. Just need Northwestern to close out Indiana now.

A lot of important bubble games where Mizzou should cheer against bubble teams. Stanford goes down to Pitt and probably exits the conversation. But Cincy is probably going to beat a bad Utah team and stay alive.

The rest of the day, cheer for Wake over VT, SMC vs. Santa Clara, and Syracuse vs. SMU

With that said, why risk it, and also, I'd love to see a Mizzou team entering Selection Sunday not visibly limping to the finish, especially after last year. At least one win in Nashville would cure many ills.

Mizzou is very lucky that the bubble teams behind them almost all face-planted yesterday. Mizzou is playing like a team highly interested in a NIT bid, but someone actually has to take their spot.

As of now, it looks like they might be able to limp in even if they go one and done in Nashville.

I don't think this drops Mizzou out, but it makes Nashville stressy. With a one and done there, Selection Sunday will not be a relaxed affair at all, even if I THINK Mizzou still sneaks in.

Just an absolute bummer of a missed opportunity to completely end the conversation.

This is horrifically sad. I was in the stadium for his very first game at Purdue, and he electrified a stadium like few others I've seen. Gone way, way too soon.

Mizzou is Schrodinger's Basketball Team. I have completely given up on trying to figure out if they are good or not. We will never know. They are a philosophical exercise in the form of a SEC basketball team.
