This makes more sense than what I know of where things are just lumped together via “- fandom” so it can’t be searched unless tagged in free form.
Do you happen to have an example fandom that already does this? I just don’t think I frequent/come across one that works like this and I think a visual would help me understand what is going on, is all.
Tbf, this is likely regular protocol and it will be better for the search function. But, as the bitchy writer: I’m just mad because what do you mean I’m now going to have to compete with OT2(+CotC/0) on top of it all? All the appeal my work has is the grace of being on the first page for a week.

Surely, otherwise they wouldn’t be doing it. But that’s also why it’s a personal petty annoyance and not an actual grievance. Because I know for a fact that it’s me and my weird interests likely why I feel this way versus the reality that the vast majority would benefit from.
Yeah. And tbh, this is probably standard practice for AO3, I just don’t get around enough to know (nor get into series worth separating ig).
Though I do think that the fandom tags are going to be retained in some form, but idk sometimes you just gotta be annoyed and leave it at that lol.
I understand you (generic phrasing) don’t like how half of 0’s tags are crossed with CotC or vice versa, but there is an obvious reason why that is. And as much as I will still be able to filter out via title, I don’t like the idea of OG and II being lumped together tbh.

Saw someone mention that ig AO3 is working on a series tag for Octopath, combining all 4 titles, and going to be honest, but I think I dislike that so much more, actually.
Atlus severely underestimates how stubborn of a gamer I can be because I did not give those preta one single macca. Instead I would soft reset every time even if I hadn’t saved in a while.
