What right would you be licensing, if not the right to copy?
I did not. I was specifically responding to the statistical question of whether a poll should be considered invalid on the specific ground that only 1000 people were interviewed. There may be plenty of other reasons for the poll to be invalid.
No, because that would not be a random selection with equal chances for all Americans, as I specifically noted was necessary.
I did forget to add one requirement, which is that the chances should be independent. That is, if I get chosen, it shouldn't affect the chance my neighbor gets chosen.
As long as your sample is truly a randomly selected sample of the entire population (with equal chances to be selected), once you pass a certain (relatively small) threshold, all increasing size does is make your confidence interval tighter.
My apologies - I can see that I stepped beyond the limited knowledge of Judaism that I do have.
Minor note - Purim is from the Tanakh, but not the Torah. The Tanakh is an abbreviation referring to 3 series of books: the Torah, Prophets (Nevi'im), and Writings (Ketuvim); the Scroll of Esther is from Ketuvim.
Clarify something for me: in your second sentence, are you claiming you would criticize anyone "wax[ing] joyfully about the birth of Christ" the day after *that person* targeted a school, or the day after *the US* targeted a school?
You haven't expressed any reason why that one person's timing should differ from anyone else's timing. Is there some reason why Akiva, in particular and uniquely among Jews, should delay his discussion of Purim?
Yes, because your expressed opinion made no reference to that post beyond it being about Purim. It said: "Perhaps a better time for discussing Purim will be when Netanyahu isn't bombing children for no GD reason. Yes, I'm angry right now."
You didn't point out anything in his thread that was actually insensitive. You didn't make any connection between his thread and what you were angry about. You came into a thread, made it about you, and in doing so demanded that a Jew stop doing Jewish things.
You are criticizing him for discussing a holiday literally the day before that holiday. Even worse, you are telling him to suppress his joy - again, a religious obligation, and one that he specifically mentioned in this thread - based on something essentially unconnected with the thread.
This is disingenuous, and I suspect that you would not accept someone hiding behind "I can express my opinion!" when they are criticized for the content of that opinion.
You are criticizing a Jew for teaching and discussing the Tanakh - something the Torah specifically commands Jews to do.
Because you demanded that a Jew with no relevant connections to Netanyahu change what he was doing. You did so with a premise that would apply to all Jews discussing celebrating Purim, without distinction for culpability or even support.
We have made clear that we understand the context, and reject it as a justification for your post. Your anger does not entitle you to demand that someone else change what they are doing. Your being triggered does not entitle you to demand that someone else censor themself in public.
Sometimes people make a point by image-quoting someone while blanking their bsky account; I have seen Akiva do this before. He is saying that he no longer feels the need to go through the work to hide your account when criticizing what you are saying.
His timing for discussing a holiday that is happening literally tomorrow night could be better?
Should he save it for Yom Kippur?
Handedness is much less lopsided at 10%; ambidexterity is closer at 1%, according to Wiki.

If Coleman came back later (after an adverse inference) with evidence the superchats weren't from New York, would the Court have to reexamine it, given the need to constantly examine SMJ (FRCP 12(h)(3))?

The opinion includes no fewer than 14 exclamation points, including 2 for single-word sentences: "Horsefeathers!" and "Please!"
Ok. That may be what you wanted to say. But you did say: "never actually controlled the congress during Obama’s presidency"
Do you stand behind that claim?
Would you mind checking the row starting with "111th (2009-2011)"?
Did you mean Biden's presidency, which chronologically fits into the timeline you've stated?
Minor question - any reason you list Judge Doughty's date of elevation to Chief Judge of his district (2022), rather than his date of appointment (2018)?
