Scanning the comments from various Govt ministers itβs pretty obvious they couldnβt be bothered reading a summary of the Covid Inquiryβs findings before sharing their thoughts.
I must admit I'm surprised at how little the Royal Commission gave to vaccine opponents, some of whom saw this process as the thing that would vindicate them. Can't get much clearer than this.

As a white middle class kid growing up in the pre-Lange years, the notion that NZ did things first/best rested in my DNA.
These days, not so much.
But. I still believe in one thing.
Wherever you go in the world, you will never get fresh fish as good as here in Aotearoa.

Costs associated with the solar system include:
- 2 new heat pump how water units, inc eye-watering plumbing & electrical costs
- upgrading the house's main distribution board
- new wiring for an induction hob
- wiring for an EV charger
Right now the bills are coming in left, right & centre for the mammoth amount of work required to solarise our little whare at Balloch Street.
Trying to balance the feelings of unease at all that spending with the knowledge that by mid-April we'll be generating power for pretty much all our needs.
