Last week, I was proud to join President Toni Preckwinkle, my colleagues Commissioners Maggie Trevor and Scott Britton, and local partners in Rolling Meadows to celebrate the launch of Pace’s expanded Northwest Cook County On Demand service.
This Tuesday, 3/10/2026 from 9:30 to 11:30 am, The Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County will be joining us at the Gail Borden Public Library to assist veterans with getting the benefits they are owed. Please share with any veterans or veteran organizations that you know.
This month, Schaumburg Township is collecting new socks, shoes, underwear, and gift cards to support School District 54 students in need. Donations for students from preschool through 8th grade can be dropped off at the Township throughout the month.
Denise is also deeply involved with the Girl Scouts of the USA, supporting leadership development in young girls, and is also a Gold Award recipient herself. Her tireless devotion to those in need and her community is worth celebration!
Denise has served many roles under WINGS Program, Inc, a leading provider of services for domestic violence. For almost 2 decades, she has worked to improve the organization and worked collaboratively to uplift those seeking its service.
