I stayed in more progressive Christian denominations and churches until 2022 when, as I say, the Church left me (ego, leadership, and lies pushed me out).

Watching my mom waste away from a painful, rare type of stomach cancer. My beliefs told me she'd be suffering in the next life too and I realized that was bullshit.
Then I listened to Rob Bell's Love Wins on audiobook. It solidified what I knew in my heart.

This is the issue today. People who speak gently, and think they're loving people, and they're NOT.
Their words are venom and hatred and they twist the Word of God because there's no way THEY can be the wrong ones, so it must be everyone else. (6/7)
