We are dealing with a terrible thing. Our son Fabian was detained on his return flight Friday night at Boston Logan airport. He had all proper paperwork. He has no open court case or anything against him going on. Today I received the first phone call from Fabian since Friday. He got transferred from Boston Logan detention center to another detention center on Rhode Island. During his stay at the Boston detention center he was tortured and sleep deprived and confronted with other acts of violence. Because he was sleep deprived he collapsed and had to be taken to the medical center for treatment. Coming back from there two officers put him in a shower and sprayed him with freezing cold water. He was rarely fed. He was interrogated several times and asked to give up his green card. He suffers from influenza B and is very sick. We are in touch with the German consulate. An immigration lawyer is going to work on his case. We are also trying to get an immigration case bail bond for him. This is really happening and no joke. We as a family are devastated! There is NO HELP at all! Innocent people are imprisoned and what’s great about that????
