2025 can eat a bag of dicks.
My first system was an Atari 800 with a floppy peripheral. My uncle used to take me to see his friend who pirated games, and I'd walk out with a stack of floppies each with 8-10 games each.
I used to have a vanity license plate that read VID GAMR. My ex wife literally told me it was embarrassing.
Notice how I said "ex wife." My current wife actually encourages me to play to relieve stress.
The SD is one of my favorite pieces of tech. My only complaint is it can be cumbersome and sometimes confusing to create a custom control configuration (that's a lot of alliteration). I never find community settings I like, and I play a lot of classic PC shooters never designed for a controller.
The volume of games was so rich it was almost overwhelming. There was always something new to play, and the only place this still exists anymore is Steam. Also, the 360 controller is still the best ever designed.
My brain just collapsed into a memory vortex
One of the absolute most underrated albums of the 80s. "Summer Rain" is one of the best songs of the 80s. I said it.
I don't know how you distinguish this from one of his social media posts.

I've been on Steam since Day 1 in '04 with HL2. I am currently in a torrid love affair with my Steam Deck. I am a Steam guy. This Steam Machine is a genius move on GabeN's part. Specs are out, but the price will tell us a more. A PC library with console simplicity.
I don't see this happening. Games are so expensive and time consuming to develop now, if anything there may be less output with the PS6. Publishers must find a way to navigate rising costs with consistent release flow. Maybe they will, but I have a feeling A.I. will start driving development.
Deck 2 would be nice. I still think HL3 is a myth.
A better song than "Take On Me." Yeah, I said it.
I generally hate hip hop and rap, but this song kicks hard. Takes me back to 8th grade. I recently "rediscovered" it and got sort of obsessed again.
This song is high underrated. But note this album came out in the 90s.
A.I. is fine for brush ups, but replacing the human factor in creative design is something I will never be okay with. It demonstrates society's value of money over humanity.

I really miss old school PC shooters. One man against impossible odds, roaring through heavily scripted, railed levels. The idea seems antiquated in a marketplace full of insufferably long open world games and MP focus. Give me refreshes of F.E.A.R., Soldier of Fortune, NOLF
Things are really expensive right now. Do you know what we should do? Make them even more expensive and drag it out for your entire adult life.

I don't understand why poor people just don't go buy more money
Nintendo never tried to compete with PS/XB head-on. They were pioneers in mobile gaming, were affordable, and had in-demand exclusives. They never cared to make the most powerful system. Now everyone wants portability and MS & Sony are trying to catch up with Nintendo and handheld PCs.
Man, just bring back J&D as a mascot platformer like the first game instead of the Ratchet & Clank spinoff it became with the second game on. The PS needs a colorful, traditional 3D platformer again.
Add "Aftermath" and move "Frequency" into the top 5.
Axios tried to bust James Talarico for following adult content creators on Instagram and I'm genuinely impressed by his campaign's response
I'm over the GTA VI hype. Bring on the Max Payne remakes. Those will be minute-for-minute more fun.
In the words of Pink Floyd, we donβt need no education. But also in the words of Pink Floyd, money.

Who wants to be the first to die in a fiery wreckage of Cybercab and train debris? Personally, I hope the news calls me "a tragic example of humanity's over eagerness to put our lives in danger so we don't have to tip the Pakistani."
