seeing someone posting about star wars reminded me that just before i read svsss, i was having a major anakin/obi wan moment. but only fics where anakin was deeply insane and evil. so i was priming myself for bingqiu perfectly, longing for it without realising it was there

i think that is one of my favourite things about bingge, it's always emphasised how scary he is - and then it's followed through!! we see him do the scary thing!!! and we inevitably turn to little bingmei with the same dread that caused Blake to wonder "did He who made the lamb make thee?"
