On Ofgem’s decision to grant Elon Musk’s Tesla Energy company a licence to supply electricity in Britain, Naomi Smith of Best for Britain: β€œWe all know the British public rightly view Elon Musk as a profoundly dangerous and malign influence, who belongs nowhere near our critical infrastructure."

Grimly telling how Trumps hates things that are good for most people's souls: dogs & libraries being obvious examples...

These companies all settled lawsuits with Donald Trump by promising to donate as much as $63 MILLION to his presidential library.

But then, Trump dissolved a library fund.

So where'd the money go?

I'm pressing these CEOs for answers.

The last banknotes I have taken in our bookshop in Scotland bear images of frolicking otters, and the face of writer, poet and visionary hill-walker Nan Shepherd. The notes are objects of beauty and reflect the wild culture of Scotland. No wonder the right object to something so exquisite.

Small moments of pleasure, sheathed in your wallet. The 'Otter Tenner' is exquisite. I smile every time I pay. Kate Bush would sing songs about them. Why can't we have more playfulness? Badgers make one smile in a way politicians obviously don't. Stick it on a banknote.

Badenoch denies calling for UK to join US-Israeli war on Iran Conservative leader accused of taking confusing position after she said Starmer should β€˜do more than catch arrows’

At the most basic level of 'have some self-respect', Conservative MPs should not put forward someone who visibly is not intellectually equipped to be prime minister as their candidate to be prime minister.

The worst cabinet in American history And it's not even close.

β€œComically unqualified, intensely partisan, and unflaggingly devoted to whatever ridiculous thing bubbled out of Donald Trump’s mouth five minutes ago” - @paulwaldman.bsky.social unpacks the general traits of a prototype member of Trump cabinet - the worst in U.S. history. Via @atrupar.com

Just home from a gig in a care home with my shanty singing buddies 'The Solway Bouys'. Guy on front row promptly fell asleep. Another clapped out of time with gusto misaligned with his bony frame. One woman sang Britney Spears. And another swayed in reflective bliss. A wonderfully human experience.

The political and media voices calling for the government to instantly and unquestioningly get behind Donald Trump’s plan-free war are increasingly out of step with UK public sentiment, it seems.
