Oops, it’s the kind of night where I’m so excited I forget to take my sleep meds until after midnight and stay up until 2am.

This is true solidarity 😭

And the worst thing about recovering from hip surgery is that I can’t even sit like a bisexual.

I don’t know why the Regina George numbers from the Mean Girls musical make me feel more powerful, but I’m gonna lean into that feeling right now.

I need to remember that I’m powerful.

One week out of surgery, and I’m already wanting to do way more than I should.

Shocking no one: my hip hurts after hip surgery.

The way I’m texting my best friend at 2am even though she’s in another room in this house.

My mom just left, and I thought I’d be so sick of her doting after a week, but turns out? I’m still sad to see her go.

Thankfully my youngest cat (Kiri) has finally stopped hissing at the other (Rayla).

Kiri was so cranky after I got back from the surgery center, but just with Rayla—like it must have been her fault I had to go to the hospital.

Apparently I insisted on calling my mom after surgery and was like, “What’s the deal, pickle? How’s the fam?”

…She was sitting just outside in the surgery center waiting room.

I’m home from surgery and recovering. Been sleepin’ a lot. Hobbling around on crutches only when necessary.

My mom and joyfriend are taking good care of me, and I’m so grateful to my family in all this—they were and have been such a help.

Yesterday was rest, today the work begins.

The biggest creative hurdle I’m facing right now for this project is a name, and isn’t that just how it goes.

It’s hard to know what to recommend to someone who’s not really a gamer currently.

This is a great idea.

My PCP has been super helpful—so that’s a win.

I’m a little obsessed with the idea of streaming Blood on the Clocktower lately—I think a lot of TTRPG performers might enjoy it and do well at the performance bit.

Mostly turning ideas over in my head for new year projects, but I keep coming back to it.

I just find Blood on the Clocktower so exhilarating!

Already wishing vacation could go longer, even though there’s still one more day. I’ve just been so glad for the rest.

I’d love this. It’s only a few hours, and I never mind another reason to travel to Boston.
