Started on a tower defense game in Unity, here's a very early look. #gamedev

My testing map that demonstrates features mentioned besides variable unit size & turns - the former requiring additional code to prevent standing on a grid point that makes them intersect with walls or units.

Blue tiles indicate grid points the unit can stand upon & thus end their turn

Pink tiles indicates grid points used for movement

Yellow cells indicates a teleporter

Blue cells indicate un-pathable cells

Green spheres represents points of the path by the Path3D node used for vertical movement that is being worked upon currently - subsequent jumps do work properly but the initial jump does.

Wrote a Toon shader guide for Godot! We go over the light() function, hard shading with multiple steps and using the fresnel effect for the rim!
