"Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko" Vol. 1 by Sal Jiang. I knew someone who could an entire romance novel in one sitting because "they're like candy." Yuri manga is like that, simple plots and cute gags told with clean lines and extreme technical proficiency, but I can't resist the sickly sweet charm.
The big difference here is Rob does NOT want you to see whether Shatterstar is wearing cute shoes with his outfit.
The American artist I most associate with this page layout is of course Rob Liefeld. Nothing matters more to The Rob than showing off Shatterstar in his cute little tactical outfits. Itβs exactly the same as Takahashi showing off the apartment managerβs fashionable skirts.
Oh, good to know.
Does archive dot org not have what youβre looking for?
I don't know if Takahashi actually originated this layout but in my mind its as iconic as the Ditko 9-panel grid.
Reading a new lesbian romance manga "Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko", and here's the classic Rumiko Takahashi "look at how cute this girl is in this outfit" page layout right in chapter one.
The setup of Ghosts is a couple moves into a haunted house and each episode they help one of the ghosts solve their unfinished business so they can disappear forever. Writing another cast member out of the show every week isn't a premise that lends itself to longevity.
I'm not sure what's more surprising, that so many Americans are willingly watching an educational program like 60 Minutes, or that they're still making new seasons of "Ghosts."
Your assertion that Pelletier outgrew his Byrne influence is very generous, that's still the main thing I see when I look at Pelletier's art. (That and a little MD Bright, which I assume is why he's drawing Hama's GI Joe now.)
βHigh profile issueβ is not an accurate description of any Marvel #1 in the year 2026 lol.
I went and looked at this and its looks even worse than what I was picturing. It looks like a Tom Derenick fill-in issue.
I think some kind of space bird hypnotized everyone to talk like that? For some reason?
Now that Chainsaw Man is ending forever (no takebacks), everyone is going to have to start reading the extremely bad "Class of Brains" every Tuesday instead.
We donβt talk enough about how good βthose clown comicsβ is as an insult.
Numbers aside, X-Men 1 is a better analogue to Avatar anyway because people actually remember what happens in The Death of Superman (Superman dies).
Two of the Shonen Jump manga I read have been stuck in "The Final Battle" for months, which makes it extra funny that Fujimoto is just like "by the way, last chapter next week" out of nowhere.
"My Name is Shingo" Vol. 5 by Kazuo Umezz. I've read an unhealthy number of books about nuclear war and most of them don't also include such harrowing depictions of childhood sexual assault.
Tumblr is good for sharing art but not as good for back and forth discussion. Iβll still get like on stuff I posted on Tumblr years ago but no one ever leaves a comment.
It could be better, but I think itβs the most viable option for a hostile comics takeover right now. Better than fucking instagram at least.
The replacement was CEO of Wordpress for like 8 years without stripping it for parts. Everyone uses Wordpress, the reliable workhorse of the Web 2.0 era.
People are rightly worried about the phrase "venture capitalist" but maybe it will be good for this site to be run by a boring business man without a wikipedia page instead of someone who spends so much time doing forum troll shenanigans.
I said from the beginning that comics people need to take over and dominate this site the way the Lego fans did with Flickr.
Usually more like regular army propaganda.
I got a big raise at my email job today, going to splurge and buy a big hard drive and an external cd player for my laptop. Maybe a new pair of pants.
Even my oaf senator Fetterman had actual progressive bonafides before he went mask off as a Republican. This guy was grown in a lab to be the perfect nazi podcast guest.
I thought the nazi tattoo mercenary dude announced he was dropping out of the senate race to spend more time with his family and also fleeing to norway. How is he suddenly the frontrunner.
chalk sucks clay 4ever
The american direct-maket comics industry puts out so many Horror Genre comics and I don't think there's ever been one that's actually scary. Obviously not everyone can be Umezz but I'm not sure we need so many versions of Cullen Bunn.
