I’m watching the movie, Pineapple Express for maybe the second time and I hope the old expression “laughing my head off” is a figurative expression and not a literal one

I think maybe I should have reduced the proportions in this edamame quinoa salad I made for dinner.
A UFC fight at the WH. this is straight out of a movie. Idiocracy comes to mind
Hey, me too!

Yup, spot on.
The sane people of the US have been saying the same thing since 2017.
The richest Americans saw their net worth soar 120% from 2017 to 2025.
The top 1% now control $55.8 trillion in assets — more than the G.D.P. of the United States and China combined.
Meanwhile, millions of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
Still wondering if inequality is out of control?
I'm having trouble constructing an argument that convinces me it's acceptable for the U.S. to target a foreign leader, but not vice versa.
If you needed proof Republicans are the stupidest motherfuckers on the planet, welcome to WA 🤷🏻♀️. Only damn Republicans would protest a tax on millionaires

@ms.now @aliciamenendez.bsky.social With regard to your graphic on gas prices, it's "50¢," not "¢50."
So far the war on Iran has cost $9.4 billion.
That's $1 billion per day.
$41,666,667 per hour.
$11,574 per second.
Thousands of lives lost.
People don't want this. They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.
You mean that mysterious animal that lives on top of his head.
At least he wasn’t in a tan suit. Oh the humanity....
So much “winning.” 🙄
The U.S. economy lost 92,000 jobs in February.
A record number of Americans are withdrawing from their 401ks to cover expenses.
Americans owe $18.5 trillion in debt — an historic high.
Meanwhile, the wealth of America's 935 billionaires soared by $1.5 trillion in 2025.
“Golden Age” for whom?
Plenty of Democrats are making the case. But the MAGA crowd doesn’t see that analysis on Fox News or via other propaganda outlets
(2/2) I also just realized in TN I can get an absentee ballot merely by being 60 or older. I have I have voted in every election since Jimmy Carter in 1980 (I was 18) and never had any problem making it to a polling place. But I’m gonna vote by mail just to the PWN the MAGA crowd again.
(1/2) I am pulling for Crockett to win that senate primary in TX and then beat the Republican nominee in the general. Not only do I think she would be a very effective advocate for working people, but it would PWN the MAGA crowd.
Our taxes
Our taxes are paying for this instead of healthcare.

My faithful dog of 14 yrs. died 10 months ago. I live alone and I miss him greatly.
I finally adopted a one year-old from the shelter a week ago Tater is a good Democrat and she never argues with me when I rant about politics. She also gives me a reason to get up well before 10 AM.
I think you’re allowed to when another country starts a war against you.
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."
-Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1953
He lost the Tr**p administration at “moral responsibility.”
I hear it’s hereditary.
As you and I were both taught, “Equity will not suffer a wrong to be without a remedy.”
But it’s hard to see what that remedy might be. The current administration disregards the US judiciary, which is impotent at times, and the we have an historic antipathy towards the ICJ and another UN bodies.
To be honest, I’m not familiar with Queen Boudica. As far as Ho, he gets a bad rap, but I do admire his anti-colonial efforts. I also have it on good authority that he made a hell of a martini.
Well, the current US president may give him a run for money on those statistics before all is said and done.
Meanwhile, is there a world leader (alive or dead) you do admire? I would consider changing my benchmarks.
