We used to have an βafter Massβ rush in the market at at 10.45 AM daily
Venerable ladies mostly, joined later by slightly perplexed recently retired gentlemen
It had a very busy Mass card business

We will be serving hot rotisserie sandwiches
Bleak, blank and Kind of boring. We have acres of plaza nearby already. It could have a lot more greenery

One of the two Grand Parade entrances to The English Market may be closed in the morning due to the sky falling down.

Use it the fat to fry vegetables during the week or for roasting spuds. A generation or so ago we spent a lot more on food than we do now and we are surrounded by the illusion of cheap food
I was interviewed for this article but didnβt make the cut
I have been saying for years. Eat less meat but buy the best quality that you can afford. Keep the fat or drippings and make a few meals from one roast
