South Bay House of Correction has a long history of violence and neglect. Between 2021 and 2023, seven people died in Sheriff’s custody. In December 2025, Shacoby “Coby” Kenny became the eighth.
This is not an isolated incident. Join to demand change.
Today, in a massive show of support, 1,025 organizations, including immigrant justice, human rights, civil rights, faith, and labor organizations, sent a letter to members of Congress to express horror, outrage & deep grief about the recent shooting deaths by federal agents in Minneapolis.
Dr. King warned that America’s scientific progress was outpacing its moral progress.
Today, his words still ring true.
This MLK Day, we honor his call to recognize the dignity of every person — and to measure security not by force, but by love, justice, and care for one another.

On World AIDS Day & the Day of Persons with Disabilities, we name the truth:
This country spends billions policing, and punishing, but refuses to invest in accessible healthcare, HIV research, or the dignity of people navigating these systems.
Disability justice is abolition.
Today, we honor the Indigenous nations who have resisted colonial violence for centuries and continue that leadership today.
From the Occupation of Alcatraz to the Nisqually Tribe resisting ICE pressure in 2025, Indigenous resistance strengthens all our struggles for liberation.
On #IDEVAW we uplift trans and immigrant women whose safety is threatened by both interpersonal and state violence. Women should be able to seek help without fear of deportation, harassment, or incarceration.
On Trans Day of Remembrance, we honor those lost to anti-trans violence and stand with the trans community in the struggle for safety and justice.
