These boys had fun exploring the infant area this week!

This afternoon some of our P.5-7’s went a walk to find out more about the history of boats in the local area. We also managed to squeeze in a visit to the park. The children loved all of the new equipment that has been added!

Primary 2 and 3 got to visit our new library today! 📚✨ What a fantastic new space for us to explore—and what better day to go than on World Book Day. We can’t wait for many more exciting visits and lots of reading adventures ahead! 📕 😊

At assembly today we celebrated world book day with a quiz about books. These P7’s were playing against each other to win an extra playtime for different classes. Well done to C who won extra playtime for P3 and P4. @carronshoreprimary.bsky.social 🐝

Massive thank you to Bike Buddies Project team from FEL for supplying some of our P7’s with brand new bikes, helmets, bike lock and bike lights. The second year we’ve been involved with this initiative, very lucky boys and girls. 🚴🏻🐝@carronshoreprimary.bsky.social

ELC: Following an interest of looking at maps in a book and on the iPads, the children have created a map of our nursery. How fantastic does it look?! 🗺️

After P7, and all the other classes, planted our daffodil bulbs, the senior area was troubled by the amount of dog poo found outside our school 😖 P5, 6 & 7 got together last week to discuss what we could do to help out. Posters, interviews, and homemade dog poo bag dispensers coming soon! #community

Today we had Kenny from Dr Bike come into school during BEE time to service P6 bikes ahead of their bikeability part 2 next month. Kenny did a great job fixing tyres, brakes and general servicing. He taught the kids loads. #BEEtime @carronshoreprimary.bsky.social 🐝🚴🚵‍♀️

Denny karate club are joining us for 6 weeks to run a lunch club. Today it was P4-P7’s turn. I popped in to see how it was going, busy class. They

Yesterday, Primary 1 & 2 worked together in teams to draw plans and build castles using a variety of different resources 🏰 . They had to include battlements, a castle wall, door & tower and they were even set the challenge to include a drawbridge and arrow slits if they could!

A fun Friday making the most of the sun this morning, developing our gross motor skills, exploring the music room AND putting on our very own fashion show ☀️🏃🎵👗.

All things castles in Primary 2 today! 🏰 We explored knights’ armour and shields, designed our own brave knights, and created fantastic castles during our area time. I was so impressed with E’s creativity — what a magnificent castle, well done! 👏✨

We are looking forward to celebrating world book day next week. Children can dress up as their favourite book character or dress down.

Primary 2 had a fantastic time with Gareth today! There was so much laughter, along with some amazing singing and dancing on show. What a joyful session! 🎶💃🕺

Today P2 & P3 had so much fun during PPI time. Children explored our outdoor loose parts where they were building cars, houses, motorway offices, dens, and even brewing “lentil soup.” They were also teaching each other to tie rope 🪢 👏🏼. Their creativity and teamwork was absolutely spectacular! 🚗🏠🍲

P2 have been super busy this week! We explored odd and even numbers, went on a number hunt, and received another royal letter from Queen Camilla asking us to build castle models for her museum—of course we accepted! Well done to L who read a story to us! 👏🏼. Plus lots of super play in the area 👑🏰✨
